Daniel Jocz graduated magna cum laude with a degree in History from UCLA and earned his masters degree in Education from the UCLA Teacher Education Program. He currently teaches various Social Studies classes and is the Leadership Advisor and Service Learning Coordinator at a high school in Los Angeles. Daniel has also served on the Instructional Leadership Team, been a Instructional Coach, and has participated in seven international teaching programs. Recently he was selected as the 2016 California Teacher of the Year, was one of four finalists for National Teacher of the Year, and was just named 2018 California History Teacher of the Year.
